FURRY AND THE FURIOUS
I have a new Kung Fu Panda chapter book coming out! This title features black-and-white illustrations and tells two tales from Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. In the first, Master Shifu must face a furry enemy, an emperor tamarin named Pei Mei. In the second story, a furious cobra named Fu-xi attacks the Valley of Peace, causing the villagers to express their hatred for snakes. Viper is stuck in the middle. Will she help his fellow snake, Fu-xi? Or will she stay loyal to his friends? For inspiration, I like to collect action figures from the cartoons I write for. I have one figure of one my favorite Kung Fu Panda characters, from the first film. Can you guess which one it is? You’ll find the answer at the bottom of my June 2014 newsletter.
