Hi everyone! I hope you had a fun summer and that your school year is getting off to a great start.

I had an exciting summer. Dragon Masters 4: Power of the Fire Dragon was released in July, and I began to work on the next Dragon Masters book. Dragon Masters 5 is called Song of the Poison Dragon and will feature a new dragon master! As you can probably guess, we’ll learn more about the four-headed hydra who appeared in book 4, too.

There are some exciting things happening in September, too:

Princeton Children’s Book Festival

I will be appearing at this wonderful festival along with dozens more amazing authors, including Bruce Coville, Gail Carson Levine, Jerry Pinkney, and Rosemary Wells. If you are in the area, please come and say hi! I will be meeting fans and signing books all day. Visit their website for more details: Princeton Public LIbrary

The Peanuts Are Back!

Growing up, I loved the Peanuts television specials just like everyone else. My parents had paperback collections of Peanuts comic strips that I devoured. And in seventh grade, I was an extra in our school production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie, Brown! I had naturally curly hair, like Frieda, and when I got crabby my parents always said I was acting like Lucy.

So when I was asked to write the movie novelization of the new Peanuts movie coming out, I was thrilled. The book comes out on September 22. I can’t wait to see the film on the big screen! Order on Amazon

That’s all for now…

That’s all the news for now. Remember, summer isn’t officially over until September 22 this year so enjoy the last days of warm weather and keep on reading!
